Booking & enrolment

How do I book a studio?

Online, any time — pick a studio, pick a slot, pay. Bookings run from 6am to midnight, seven days a week, with a 2-hour minimum.

What do I need before my first booking?

One simple enrolment: a valid photo ID (passport or driving licence) and proof of address (utility bill, bank statement or council letter). Complete it at least 36 hours before your first booking so your access details arrive in time. You only ever do this once.

Can I book a recurring weekly slot?

Yes — regulars are the heart of the place. Get in touch on WhatsApp or by email and we'll set up a recurring or block booking for you.

Access & self-service

How do I get into the studio?

Access details and entry codes arrive with your booking confirmation. There's no keyholder and no front desk — you let yourself in and the room is yours. You can share the code securely with your students or guests, but please don't post it in public channels or group apps.

Is anyone on site during my booking?

Usually not — the studios are self-service. We're always reachable on WhatsApp and email though, and if something's wrong we'll sort it.

Cancellations & refunds

What's the cancellation policy?

7 or more days' notice: full refund or free rescheduling. 2–7 days' notice: 50% refund or free rescheduling. Less than 48 hours' notice: the full fee is payable. Cancellation requests go in writing to lizzie@honemovementstudios.com.

How long do refunds take?

Approved refunds can take up to 14 business days to process. Missed bookings and no-shows are non-refundable.

Studio rules

What are the house rules?

No street shoes on the floor, no skates, no food inside the studio, and no pets except registered assistance dogs. Before you leave: sweep the floor with the studio brush, put back any furniture you moved, take your rubbish, switch everything off and lock up. Leave the room as you found it.

How many people can I bring?

Studio 28 takes up to 20 people. For events, the maximum occupancy is 45 people in Studio 49.

Filming & photography

Can I film or photograph in the studios?

Yes — personal use, rehearsal footage, class recordings, social content and self-tapes are all covered by any booking. Commercial filming, branded campaigns, paid productions or professional shoots with external clients need prior written approval, and may carry an additional hire fee.

Which studio is better for shoots?

Studio 49 — natural light from both sides, a photographic backdrop, blackout blinds, dimmable lighting with a basic rig, plus a dressing and make-up room and a private shower. Studio 28 works well for budget shoots with its white paper backdrop and soft natural light.

Under-18s

Can under-18s use the studios?

Yes, accompanied — anyone under 18 must be supervised by a responsible adult, and the adult making the booking accepts responsibility for all minors attending.
